Jump into the world of musical improv! This class is a fun, low-pressure introduction for absolute beginners.

We'll explore the basics of creating songs on the spot in a welcoming environment, giving you a taste of this art form without committing to a full-length course.
All experience levels are welcome; no prior improv or music experience is needed.

Adina Katz is the Founder and Artistic Director of Musical Improv Montreal. With an extensive background in theatre, she has trained at prestigious institutions and performed professionally for decades.
Adina has been performing and teaching musical improv since 2011, studying with some of the top improv theaters in New York City and Chicago. She developed a curriculum specifically for this program and is passionate about helping improvisers find their voice on stage.
Ultimately, she believes musical improv isn't only a super fun art form in its own right, but a valuable skill that strengthens all aspects of an improviser’s work.
